Infinit-i (Vertical Alliance)

Monthly safety training will be sent out via text message for all drivers to complete. Please log in and complete this at your earliest convenience. https://storeytrucking.infinit-i.net

There is a $25 bonus paid to the driver for each clean DOT inspection. Please send in a copy of every inspection and ticket to Vicki for company records in order to stay in compliance with DOT regulations.

Wage and benefit information:

Starting base pay:

Solo drivers = .40 per mile (all miles) plus monthly bonus

Team drivers = .52 per mile (all miles) split plus monthly bonus

Team drivers will be paid a .56 per mile split base rate after 1 year of employment.

Solo drivers will be paid a .42 per mile base rate after 1 year of employment.

Performance bonuses:

Solo drivers with 10,000 miles for the calendar month will be paid an additional .02 per mile for all miles.

Solo drivers with 12,000 miles for the calendar month will be paid an additional .02 per mile for all miles.

Teams with 19,000 miles combined for the calendar month will be paid an additional .06 per mile for all miles.

Teams with 20,000 miles will be paid an additional .06 per mile for all miles.

Performance bonuses are usually paid by the 10th of the following month.

Sign-on bonuses:

You become eligible for your sign-on bonus after 30 days of employment.

Team sign-on bonus total is $5,000.00 ($2,500.00 each). This will be paid in $250.00 increments approximately every 30 days (this will be paid on your regular payroll check).

Solo sign-on bonus total is $1,500.00 to be paid in $150.00 increments approximately every 30 days (this will be paid on your regular payroll check).

Driver Referral bonuses:

Any active driver who recruits a new solo driver will be paid $300.00 after the new driver has worked for 30 days and $500.00 more after the new driver has worked 6 months. Total = $800.00.

When a new team has worked 30 days, the referring active driver will be paid $750.00 and an additional $750.00 after the new team has worked 6 months. Total = $1,500.00.

 

401k Program

We are now offering a 401k program to all employees that have 1 year of employment. Storey will provide a discretionary match for drivers and staff that participate. Enrollment will begin late July for an August 2021 start

Mileage Leader Board

There is a sign in front of the Henagar office titled the ‘Mileage Leader Board’. To recognize those that are running the highest miles, we highlight the top 5 team and top 5 solo drivers, in order, on the board each quarter. The top ten Solo and Team drivers will be recognized on our Workhound broadcast and on our social media accounts.

The top Solo and Team each quarter will earn an extra $500 to each driver. The top five Solo and Team drivers each quarter will have their names entered for a truck drawing at the end of the year.

 

Workhound - Improving Driver Experience

We always have an open door policy at Storey. Come talk to us in the office … Any day. Any time. About anything. We also want to give drivers multiple ways to communicate and share feedback with us. What you have to say is important!

Drivers receive a text message from WorkHound each Monday asking for feedback on driver satisfaction and a summary message of updates from Storey weekly.

Workhound is a third-party company that Storey is using to survey drivers. Any feedback you share is anonymous.

We will use it to improve the driver experience. Thanks for participating!

 

insurance - benefits at a glance

Health Plan - including Prescription Drug coverage

Medical plan offered at affordable group rates through BCBS of Alabama. Storey Trucking covers a percentage of your monthly insurance premium to all full-time drivers (9,000 miles in a calendar month). Benefits include office visits and pharmacy copays with a single deductible of $2,500 and out of pocket maximum of $5,300. To locate a provider visit www.bcbsal.org.

Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)

Storey Trucking reimburses covered employees for their medical expenses over $2,500 until the overall individual deductible of $4,000 is met. Maximum annual reimbursement is $1,500 Individual/$3,000 Family.

Dental Benefit

Access to in-network coverage for routine cleanings, x-rays, and services with dental coverage through SunLife Financial. Please refer to the Employee Benefits guide below for details.

Vision Benefit

The vision plan provided by VSP, which uses a nationwide network, includes benefits for exams and lenses every 12 months, and frames every 24 months (contact lens allowance in lieu is available). Visit www.vsp.com to locate participating providers.

Short Term Disability

New employees under 1 year will be able to enroll in short-term disability at a discounted group rate. At 1+ years of employment, you will be automatically enrolled into a company-paid short-term disability program.

Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance

Employees receive $10,000 of Life and AD&D coverage fully paid by Storey Trucking and provided through Dearborn National.
