Our Storey

Since 1966, we've been driver-first.

In the mid-1960s, Paul Storey needed to get his potato crop to market from his Alabama farm. To do that, he bought a couple trucks, and that’s how Storey Trucking began. Paul and his team delivered potatoes all across the Southeast, but when the crop ran out they had idle trucks, so they started hauling freight.

More than 50 years later, now with Eric Storey at the helm, Storey Trucking maintains a fleet of over 100 trucks, each one hauling refrigerated and dry goods back-and-forth from the Southeast to destinations across the western United States. A single truck or 100, Storey Trucking has always worked to ensure its drivers have the best equipment and the best support possible.

We have direct contact with the whole team. Safety. HR. Payroll. We can go straight to anyone we need to.

Our Team

One of the things Storey drivers consistently say they love about driving with us is that our entire team is easily accessible and always helpful. We’re glad they feel that way and we strive to make sure that’s a sentiment they feel in the years to come.

Our team at Storey is comprised of dispatch operators with over 80 years of combined dispatch experience, as well as mechanics and technicians, back-office support, and much more. The goal of each of these team members is to provide Storey drivers out on the road with the best equipment and support possible, so they can quickly and safely run their routes and get home.
